What is an R Family Group Cruise?

We are excited to offer this new style of R Family cruising. While we are not chartering the entire ship, our new group product allows you to experience some brand new destinations and ships — with many of the elements that you love about “r” cruises. We’ll offer group dining experiences, some of “r” signature entertainment and team, and a chance to sail with 100’s of R Family Vacation guests. Our recent 2010 group cruises were a huge hit and some of the best vacations we’ve ever offered.

So where are we cruising to?

Travel to Italy and Greece with R Family. Enjoy the Gondoliers as they serenade under bridges and along renaissance architecture in Venice and visit the islands of Murano and Burano, the Piazza San Marco, and the heart of Venice.

Then, we sail to Corfu located in the Ionian Sea — the view from the village of Paleokastritsa that looks down onto the coves below is magical. As we sail into Santorinia, the whitewashed buildings and fascinating archeological sites will take your breah away. Enjoy a glass of wine from the Santo Winery after strolling Fira's streets with other GLBT families and friends. If you can fit it in, plan to visit Akrotiri, where Minoan Pompey was excavated.

Next stop, Mykonos. This classic Greek Island is filled with white-washed houses, blue-domed churches and perfect beaches. Explore over 20 beaches or take a ferry to the tiny island of Delos. Wander the Hora or main village, a maze of winding streets.

Onward to Katákolon Near Olympia, where the ancient Greeks flocked every four years to celebrate the ancient games dedicated to Zeus, Katakolon has a special feel. You'll find ruins of the Temple of Hera and remnants of what was once the first Olympic Stadium. In fact, historical landmarks can be seen where ever you turn.

And as you cruise from port to port along stunning coastlines, we’ll keep you entertained day and night with exciting nightclubs, award-winning restaurants, a grand casino, swimming pools, a pampering spa and so much more. There’s tons of fun for kids too, so bring the whole family, and enjoy the European cruise adventure of a lifetime.

Rates: Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Prices do not include airfare, optional port excursions, bar charges, or spa services. All prices are subject to change.

Name Changes / Late Bookings: Reservations may be transferred to another guest for a penalty of $150 until 14 days prior to the departure. Anyone making reservations within 14 days of departure must pay for overnight charges of $25 for shipping of documents.

Deposits and Payments: We require a $1000 deposit.

Payment Plans: R Family Vacations also offers an extended payment plan. Once an initial deposit is made, you may request a monthly payment amount to be paid through the final balance due date.

Travel Insurance: R Family Vacations strongly recommends purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Passport Requirements: For all U.S. citizens, a valid passport is required for travel to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean..
