What is an R Family Group Cruise?

We are excited to offer this new style of R Family cruising. While we are not chartering the entire ship, our new group product allows you to experience some brand new destinations and ships — with many of the elements that you love about “r” cruises. We’ll offer group dining experiences, some of “r” signature entertainment and team, and a chance to sail with 100’s of R Family Vacation guests. Our recent 2010 group cruises were a huge hit and some of the best vacations we’ve ever offered.

So where are we cruising to?

Miami's mosaic of cultures, languages, scents and sites has something for everyone. No visit is complete without a trip to the Everglades. Shopping is to die for and so is the nightlife.

Our first stop is Costa Maya. Enjoy pristine white sand beaches in this former Mexican Navy outpost. Explore Rio Huach National Park. Float the blue-green waters of Bacalar Lagoon and kayak the reef.

Next stop, Roatan. Snorkel, hike or tour the lagoon at Punta Sal National Park by boat. The reef off the Bay Islands of Honduras rivals the Great Barrier Reef.

Onward to Cozumel where you can explore the ocean architecture at Dos Ojos Caves and the Tulum Mayan Ruins. Snorkel, scuba, sail, dine at fine restaurants or local taco joints and shop. The largest island in the Mexican Caribbean is easy-going and pristine.

Rates: Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Prices do not include airfare, optional port excursions, bar charges, or spa services. All prices are subject to change.

Name Changes / Late Bookings: Reservations may be transferred to another guest for a penalty of $150 until 14 days prior to the departure. Anyone making reservations within 14 days of departure must pay for overnight charges of $25 for shipping of documents.

Deposits and Payments: We require a $1000 deposit.

Payment Plans: R Family Vacations also offers an extended payment plan. Once an initial deposit is made, you may request a monthly payment amount to be paid through the final balance due date.

Travel Insurance: R Family Vacations strongly recommends purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Passport Requirements: For all U.S. citizens, a valid passport is required for travel to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean..

Travel Documents: Travel Documents will be mailed approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the departure.
