March 3-10: Lake Tahoe Gay and Lesbian Winterfest. 

The Nevada Gay and Lesbian Visitor & Convention Bureau presents Lake Tahoe Gay and Lesbian WinterFest2002.  Their seventh annual non-stop ski and party event will be held in South Lake Tahoe from March 3-10, 2002.

The festivities begin on Sunday night (March 3rd) with a Hosted Welcome Cocktail Reception at WinterFest's Host Resort, which is located next to the excitement of Tahoe's casino nightlife, including Caesars and Harrahs.

Everything is taken care of the moment you arrive, including special transportation to the slopes.  Enjoy the beautiful Lake Tahoe skiing experience with your choice of four World Class Ski Resorts and nightly entertainment.

March 17-24: European Gay Ski Week/ Italian Alps Sestriere (Mostly Men)  Most probably the best resort in the Milky Way, Club Med Sestriere was the first purpose-built village in the Alps. It hosted the 1997 World Championships and will run many of the races at the 2006 Turin Olympic Games. Because it's at high altitude, there is top-class snow, supported by widespread snowmaking.
