UTAH GAY & LESBIAN SKI WEEK 

January 7-11, 2009

Although event details for 2009 hasn't been released (please check back often), NOW  is the time to start planning your getaway. We can customize a package during these dates to fit your budget. 

What is the Utah Ski Week?

This is the annual "Utah Gay Ski Week." The Utah Gay Ski week was quite big in the early 1990's, during the Prop 2 Boycott and it is now growing again with new popularity!

Why ski Utah?

Utah has the "greatest snow on earth" and Park City is easy to get to (only about 30 miles from Salt Lake International Airport). Airfares into Salt Lake are quite good and lodging prices at Park City are reasonable. 

All three resorts Park City Resorts, The Canyons, and Deer Valley are a short free shuttle ride from the condo. 

How can I be a part of this event?

It is best to book your package early. Out & About Travel can assist with complete travel packages. You have to "register" for the ski week separately, which we will assist you with.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9, 2008

• Mountain du Jour - PARK CITY OR DEER VALLEY
  11:45 am Lunch at Mid-Mountain Lodge Park City or
  Silver Lake Lodge Deer Valley
  (look for rainbow items on tables!)
• 5:30 pm Welcome party at the Utah Ski Week Hospitality Suite
• 7:30 pm Friendship dinner at Watsatch Brewery Pub
  

THURSDAY, JANUARY 10, 2008

• Mountain du Jour - THE CANYONS
  11:40 am Lunch at the Canyons Sun Lodge (Bring rainbow items)
• 5:30 pm Social Hour at the Utah Gay and Lesbian Ski Week
  Hospitality Suite
• 7:30 pm Meet and Greet at the fabulous martini bar,
  KRISTAUF'S located on Main Street in Park City.
  The bar is right next to, and under the stairwell of the TOWN LIFT.
  Meet the other Utah Gay Ski Week guys and well as many locals from Salt Lake City.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 11, 2008

• Mountain du Jour - PARK CITY RESORTS
  10:30 am Meet at the top of Silverlodge Express Chair,
  to the left to form ski groups
• 11:45 am Lunch at the Snow Hut (bring rainbow items)
• 6:00 pm Meet for cocktails.
• 7:30 pm Friendship dinner.
• 9:00 pm Nightclub TBA

SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2008

• Mountain du Jour - DEER VALLEY (The Canyons for Snowboarders)
  10:30 am Meet at the bottom of the Wasatch Express Lift
  (east side) to form ski groups
• 11:45 am Lunch at Silver Lake Lodge (bring rainbow items)
• 6:00 pm Official Ski Week Dinner and Party - Location TBA
• 6:00 pm Social hour
• 7:00 pm Dinner
• 8:00 pm Program and party

SUNDAY, JANUARY 13, 2008

• Mountain du Jour - PARK CITY RESORTS
• 10:30 am Meet at the top of Silverlodge Express Chair,
