Stowe terrain also includes four of America's most challenging trails.

Families are the guests of honor at Smugglers' Notch. Award-winning kids' ski programs and professional childcare let parents hit the slopes while the little ones have a great time of their own. To the south, the long, varied runs of Sugarbush offer some of the East's best skiing. In all, there are 112 trails on 6 mountains, not far from one another, with challenges for avid and beginner skiers alike. Winter isn't the only time to enjoy these mountains, as the summer season transforms the landscape into a playground of wildflower speckled green - any season, Vermont is a must for nature-lovers!

Northern Lights Lodge Located one mile from the Toll House lift, the Northern Lights Lodge offers the closest lodging with full amenities to the Stowe Mountain Resort. Superior rooms feature two doubles or one King bed plus a sitting area. On-site amenities include an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub, game room (with pool table, ping pong, foosball and arcade games), movie room with large projection screen TV, and breakfast room w/seasonal pub. Rates include breakfast buffet with two hot entrees. The Lodge is right on the winter Trolley Service route.
