Our philosophy is learn from skiing, apply to life, live with passion!  Skiing has been, and is, an incredibly effective vehicle through which we—whilst developing our snow sport abilities — also learn about ourselves and how to apply the new skills we’ve mastered to effect positive change in our own lives. 

Skiing has always been loyal, reliable and adventurous companion that has encouraged and elevated us; and pushed us beyond our boundaries, as we’ve confronted whatever challenges face us in life.  It has given us joy and beauty; self-determination; and taught us to question and imagine. 

Our sport has taught us invaluably to focus and conquer fear; to maintain balance; to clearly see the line to be taken, to commit to it, and to execute it, despite the pressure and risk—only to have to adapt to perilous changes in terrain.

Skiing is a phenomena that can be everything to everybody:  it can be exhilarating or meditative; it can deliver peaceful solitude or vital human connection; it can be about instinct or calculation.  But, if skiing is any one thing, it is pure:  Skiing does not hide truth; it breaks down barriers to unify.

Our mission is to give the true gift of skiing to you to effect positive change in your personal or professional life; or for many of you the re-discovery of its healing and transformative qualities, and how these tools may be genuinely applied to your own lives. 

Our goal is to improve your skiing skills, technique and performance, and for you to apply the skills you’ve learned to your own lives to overcome the challenges you face and to achieve your goals.  We want your experience with us to open your hearts and minds to new perspectives, potential, and opportunities in your own lives.

Our professional ski coaches are highly skilled in the art and science of skiing.  We have expert knowledge on the technical aspects of the sport, and a passion for its creativity.

We recognize that individuals are unique and our student-centered approach to ski coaching means that our coaches adapt their teaching methods to suit you.  Our student-centered focus incorporates not just orthodox teaching approaches, but utilizes innovative, dynamic, and practical coaching methods to integrate better technical skills into your skiing to improve your performance.  At the same time, we make sure that you have a fun, exciting and memorable experience!

Our 10/10 Personal Development Ski Program™

Evolution Expeditions™ applies combination-coaching™ in its 10/10 Ski and Personal Development Program™, focusing on up to ten skills that you need to master in downhill skiing, and on personal development coaching, so you can apply the lessons you learn to the challenges in your life. 

The focus of this Program is your evolution and growth, to empower you to effect integral and meaningful positive change in yourself and your life.  We work with you to strengthen your body and mind; to connect you with your self-identity; and to enhance your clarity, goals, commitment and drive.  We motivate you to action, and work with you to devise a personal strategy to set your goals and to achieve them, so that you take control, conquer your fear and conflict, and live your best life.

Our programs are 14 days, but content and duration may be tailored to individual group requirements.  The Program is also available to corporate or business groups that would like their executives, management and/or employees to benefit.  The possibilities are endless, whether you wish to cover any one or a number of topics below, or other subjects:

Evolution Expeditions™, in partnership with Thousand Steps Development, integrates professional ski coaching and solutions-focused corporate/professional development coaching in its Professional Development Ski Program.  Whether you are a “C” Level Executive, in management, a professional or a business owner, we assist you with solutions-based guidance and support within a structured-framework.  Our focus is helping you to analyse and assess your business and professional challenges and opportunities; set your goals; and formulate realistic solutions and actions plans in order for you to achieve results.
