WHAT OUR TRAVELERS SAY
"Travelling through Central Europe with Hermes was great. I got to meet some great guys who were on my tour, especially my room-mate Eric who was awesome and our hosts David & Kristina were also fantastic. Both David & Kristina have a great knowledge of this region and were able to introduce our tour group to great local sights, eating places and even a few local gay bars. I would recommend Hermes Tours for anyone looking for a rewarding tour group experience"- Ian Stevenson,

Itinerary
Day 1 – Saturday, June 19 – Arrive in Vienna (D)

Arrive in Vienna today, Austria’s elegant capital on the “Blue Danube” and home to the waltz, Mozart, and a rich café culture. Explore on your own once you’ve arrived, and meet us in the famed Grinzing wine district for our special Hermes welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Sunday, June 20 – Vienna (B)

We’ll spend our morning getting to know Vienna on a sightseeing tour.  Visit the Schoenbrunn Palace, the towering St. Stephen’s cathedral, and other architectural wonders along the Ringstrasse, the boulevard that encircles the Old City.

After lunch on your own, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 – Monday, June 21 – Vienna-Salzburg (B) We travel to Salzburg today, a stunning baroque city with a glorious alpine locale, and of course the setting for The Sound of Music. Throughout your stay, this city’s unrivalled beauty is sure to keep you singing! We’ll arrive in time for lunch on your own, and you’ll have ample time to follow your own whims this afternoon. Dinner is at your leisure tonight.
Day 4 – Tuesday, June 22 – Salzkammergut (B) Today we’ll venture into the countryside to Salzkammergut, a preserved area of breathtaking forests, lakes, and rivers with a rich history of Habsburg salt-mining. Today, it’s an outdoor lover’s paradise and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll return to Salzburg after lunch. Your Hermes escort can recommend a spot for dinner on your own tonight.
